I finished this year’s Boston Marathon ahead of the world’s best women runners. Of course, I did it in the back of a pick-up truck! I had a great opportunity to work the historic 116th running this year for the Boston Athletic Association, a brand we truly believe in, and one we’ve worked for in the past. The world’s oldest annual marathon also ranks as one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events. I was honored to work on the women’s press truck this year, alongside one of our country’s top distance runners, Desiree Davila, who is also our best hope for gold in the Women’s Olympic Marathon in London. It was very cool to spend the day with her, as she gave me a great running commentary (no pun intended) on the race, invaluable for my reports to the media. We look forward to working with the BAA again, and to cheering Desiree on this summer!
