Your music could reach over 100,000 people!

JAY-K and romanelli communications have teamed up in an effort to support our community by promoting original music from Central New York Bands. Local bands are invited to submit original music sample CD’s to romanelli communications at PO Box 227, Clinton, NY 13323 or email mp3’s to production@romanelli.com for a chance at having them appear on local TV.

This is the second round of the contest. Two winners will be chosen to have clips of their original songs on two different upcoming JAY-K TV commercials, a great opportunity for band exposure in the area. Winning artist name and song title will appear on each respective commercial.

Submission Deadline: March 31, 2006

The winners of our first round are "Way Back Home" by Jomama and the Funkdaddys and "Middle of My City (Genesee Street)" by The Reuben James. Both of these spots will debut on WUTR (ABC) during the Super Bowl, Feb. 5th.

Local area consists of Utica, NY and the surrounding Central New York area from Cooperstown to Syracuse to the Adirondacks. The area is defined by the JAY-K delivery area. All decisions regarding eligibility will be made by JAY-K and romanelli communications. All decisions are final. Artists will NOT be paid for their submission. The winners will receive free local exposure hundreds of thousands of TV sets for hundreds of thousands of viewers to see and hear. The spots typically run for 1-2 years, but romanelli communications reserves the right to run the spots as needed. There is no limit on how many samples you can send. Please do NOT write JAY-K jingles or send covers. Send your existing original music only. Provide clear contact information on all submissions. Samples are not returnable but they will not be used as any other promotional material without the artist’s consent
