As their largest running industry sponsorship in the Country, adidas America has a great deal riding on the Boston Marathon. Romanelli is employed by adidas to make the most out of their sponsorship by handling the day to day public relations duties. The 2004 race was all about the weather and Romanelli helped adidas capitalize on this by pitching their line of shoes and apparel specifically designed for the Athens Olympics. This sneak peek made great news as evidenced by this clip from the ESPN raceday broadcast.
