Regional lumber retailer JAY-K’s “local experts” brand has been reinforced on many fronts, often led by their iconic mascot, named Jack O'Trade. He’s been on billboards, featured in an annual "Where's Jack?" contest, and has been amazingly popular for JAY-K. It was only natural to give him his own Facebook, Twitter and MySpace pages, and offer his services for home improvement advice (both personal and professional) with his own landing page, BetterAskJack.com, which links to the company website. Jack is making friends, connecting to more community members every week, and keeping the personal dialogue going even when customers aren’t in the store.
