adidas America always has a great deal riding on the Boston Marathon, their largest running event sponsorship in the country. romanelli was asked to make the most of their sponsorship by handling day-to-day public relations duties. The 2004 race was all about the weather, and we helped adidas capitalize on this by pitching their line of shoes and apparel specifically designed for the upcoming Athens Olympics. This sneak peek made great news, as evidenced by the ESPN raceday broadcast and print headlines during the run-up to the event.
