Remember that saying about how the whole can exceed the sum of its parts? That only works when you have some je ne sais quoi, an indefinable something that makes the parts work well together. For that reason we’re always looking for versatile people at Romanelli, multi-talented folks who can do seven different things, and it often brings us (and our clients) unexpected benefits.

We helped launch the Utica Music and Arts Fest, a three-day event featuring unsigned musical and visual artists from our region and well beyond, and we have a few of our own bringing their personal creative juices to the UMAF this year. Bernie Freytag, our Creative Director, created the original logo for the inaugural event, and Romanelli has helped with some promotional materials and video. This year Bernie put paint to wood and created the artwork for a 2010 commemorative poster. He’s signing 200 for promotion at the Fest. Ryan Miller, our Online Strategist, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist, and will be participating on stage, as he fronts his alt-rock band Modus, and performs solo, both on Thursday night. Modus plays from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at Sickenburger, and Ryan stands alone from 11:00pm to 12 midnight at the Celtic Harp.

The UMAF is a fantastic event, and is all about people with talent creating magic, touching lives and making the world a little better in the process. Kind of like us.
