The theme of our social media campaign perfectly captured why we believe in this brand: Rosewood Tucker’s Point and Gosling’s Rum, two of Bermuda’s favorites, are all about rest and relaxation. This Facebook-based promotion, conceived to bring attention to the resort’s new Facebook page, invited fans to mix their own drinks, submit recipes, stories and pictures online, and invite friends to comment and vote on their favorites. The grand prize winner was Amy from Washington, DC with her “Tucker’s Colada” entry. She won a free trip to the resort and a ceremony celebrating the addition of her drink to their signature list. In addition to a great time, the fans enjoyed a contest that got them into the spirit of Bermuda and interacting with both brands. Likes, new fans and drinks are being raised around North America. I’m still testing to decide my favorite.
